The Advent Conspiracy

Maybe this is precisely the year when this will catch on. What with the credit crunch and the free-falling economy, maybe this just might have the impetus to reach a critical mass.

Yeah, it'd be cheating, I know. People would buy into it for the wrong reason. But maybe that's how a Conspiracy has to play out. Or, maybe, it'll start for the wrong reasons, but become a tradition, so that future generations would just see it as "the norm."

Or maybe none of that matters, as long as one extra human being gets to not die because of a lack of clean water.

Yeah, maybe.

Pass it on. And tell whomever you pass it on to to pass it on.

Grace and Peace,
Raffi

Yeah, I'll take any reason going, if it gets to a more compassionate place. The economic downturn, climate change, the end of oil, all of these may in fact contribute to a better world in the due course of time.

    Hey Raffi,
I like the new look!! I stumbled across this on 'sound of a soft breath' blogspot...It (changing) tradition can be a little more difficult that what we would like it to be...especially concerning those who don't get it...yet...pioneering a new way of doing things is exciting and hardwork, but truly, it is worth it eh!?
    Smiles and Blessings to you!

    Thanks guys,

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more it makes sense. Takes me back to Jesus himself. A lot of people never got it. I lot of people don't get it. And while so many of us, myself included, grapple with the "getting it" part, billions of people throughout history have gotten food, shelter, a family, medicine, an education, love, etc., that they probably wouldn't have if Jesus hadn't done what he did.

    May the conspiracy continue.

    Grace and Peace,
    Raffi
